A kind of funny yet not so funny story happened last night. I was putting my 8 year old son Jacob to bed and we were going through our normal bedtime routine. Jacob's tooth was barely hanging on so he decided we should go ahead and pull it. So we yanked it out and put it in a ziplock baggie for the toothfairy.
As I was leaving his room, Jacob asked, Dad, does the US government give the tooth fairy her money so she can give all of the kids the money? I quickly corrected him and said no, that the tooth fairy has an amazing private business and uses the teeth for some special reason. Because of this, she can afford to give out $1 per tooth and the government is not involved at all.
Crazy.

Rebekah Marie Happy Birthday
Today is our baby's 21 st birthday...man the years went so fast. I ask the Lord to bless me with a scripture that would bless Rebekah . The Holy Spirit led me to Psalm 18:28-36.
A reminder: God as you as the apple of His eye and He hides you under the shadow of His wings that is HIs promise but so much more have fun enjoy yourself and have a delirously happy time..on your 21st birthday!
Psalms 18: 28-36 "For you will light my lamp, The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness For by You I can run against a troop,
By my God I can leap over a wall
As for God, His way is perfect
The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him
For who is God except the Lord and who is a rock except our God
It is God who arms me with strength And makes my way perfect
He makes my feet like the feet of deer
And set me on my high places
He teaches my hands to make war, so the my arms can bend a bow of bronze You have also given me the shield of Your salvation;
Your right hand has held me up
your gentleeness has made me great
You enlarged my path under me So my Feet did not slip
As I was praying this scripture over Rebekah I had snapshots in my mind of all the things that lie ahead for her. God has always had her as the apple of his eye and she will have a great legacy in the kingdom. May she always know that God will never leave her in darkness and He loves hanging around with His creation named Rebekah Marie Hobart Happy birthday honey...sorry my keyboard is sticking again...frys swears that it is not!!!!
